BACON JAM BAKED BRIE

Ingredients

1 large sheet of puff pastry (thawed) or
1 tube of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 1 medium Brie cheese round (working with a chilled Brie is easier) 4 Tbsp. Hot Pepper Bacon Jam or Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam 1 egg beaten with 2 Tbsp. water

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface until you have approximately an 11" square. Score the top of the cheese rind or use a sharp knife to carefully cut off the thin top rind of the cheese (optional, as rind is edible). Top Brie with jam. Wrap pastry around Brie and place in a baking dish. Brush pastry with egg wash. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
